Before they hit the slaughterhouse and end up on our plates for Baconfest 2015. I've chosen this moment to show off some cute and cuddly [and guitar-picking] pigs.

Cue to 1:00 minute mark and enjoy the swine shredder.

8 Seconds guitarist John Fokken could teach that hog some riffage at our pig gig. Baconfest III is Saturday, September 26 at NewBo City Market. We'll stuff our faces with some delicious bacon varieties served by the finest pork playaz in Iowa....

Our vendors will serve up some bacon ice cream, maple bacon & chocolate bacon long johns, brown sugar bacon-wrapped pineapple, bacon wrapped cream cheese filled jalapenos, bacon egg rolls and jalepeno bacon creamed corn just to name a few.
