Here in Iowa and especially the Cedar Valley, it seems, we stink at social distancing. I have been on the roads between 3-5 p.m. leaving work (yes, I am still here daily) and the roads seem pretty packed. Almost like we weren't in the midst of a pandemic. I did some research and I figured out why we stink at social Distancing here.

The crew at WalletHub crunched some numbers and, using various metrics, and they determined Iowa was the 13th hardest for residents to social distance. Their reasons are simple, Iowas rank high in...

  • Volunteering
  • Socializing and communicating
  • Spending money on social activities
