Willie Ray's Q Shack is Opening Another Location

A very popular BBQ joint in Cedar Rapids is going to be opening a second location in the very near future!

According to a new article from the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Willie Ray’s Q Shack 2.0 will open its doors soon at 266 Blairs Ferry Rd NE in the former Milio’s Sandwiches location. A sneak peek of the new restaurant was posted to the business' official Facebook page just a couple of days ago:

Willie Ray's Q Shack is known for its amazing ribs, chicken, and other smoked meats, but the food is just the tip of the iceberg. Owner Willie Fairley garnered a TON of well-deserved attention after last year's derecho after serving thousands of free meals to people in need in our community. His astounding generosity earned him $25,000 through the Discover "Eat it Forward" program, an interview on Will Smith’s Snapchat show “Will From Home,” an award from the Cedar Rapids Gazette, and more!

If you're eager to try Willie Ray's Q Shack, you don't have to wait until the second location is open! There is no exact opening date at this time, but you can always check out their original location at 288 Blairs Ferry Rd in Cedar Rapids. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (although they are closed today, January 26th).
