Few things in life go together better than beer and pizza. Lucky for us, Pizza Hut knows that, so they're expanding their beer delivery service to Iowa this month!

According to the Gazette, beer delivery will be available at 300 Pizza Hut locations across the U.S. this month. Just in time for the Super Bowl! They began the service in Arizona and California late last spring, but they will be expanding to Florida, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, and, of course, Iowa! If all goes well, Pizza Hut plans to offer beer delivery at over 1,000 locations by this summer.

According to Nation’s Restaurant News, the current beer offerings through the chain include: "two-packs and six-packs of Blue Moon, Bud Light, Budweiser, Busch Light, Coors Light, Corona Extra, Kilt Lifter, Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite, Miller High Life, Shock Top, and Stella Artois." And for those of you concerned, yes, you will have to show a valid I.D. when your order arrives.

Personally, I think this is a great idea. You can have pizza delivered right to your house, so why should you have to go to the store for your beer?

There are just over 100 Pizza Hut locations in Iowa, but Cedar Rapids and Des Moines are the only cities with six locations a piece, so my guess is that those cities will be the first to launch the beer delivery service. I can't find a list of participating locations yet, so I guess we'll have to wait and see!
