Food recall

Summertime is a time family and friends like to get together and grill out. One staple item of cookouts is potato salad but you want to skip it for now.

The FDA announced a recall of melons sold in four states in the midwest.

There is possible contamination of a "foreign material". In this case, the chips could have metal in them.

The sauce inside the kit contains eggs, which weren't declared on the package.

Nearly 12 million pounds of chicken recalled

Hy-Vee has issued another voluntary product recall, this time involving six trail mix products, due to possible health risks.

The midwest grocery store chain, based in Iowa, is recalling a private label product sold at all 240 of its stores.

UPDATE: A list of Stores who may have sold the contaminated salad has been released. If you recently bought the Summer Pasta Salad from Hy-Vee, you should not eat it, but instead toss it immediately, or head back to your local Hy-Vee, as they have issued a recall specifically on that product.
