16-Year-Old Steals Rental Car In Cedar Rapids

They're so cute at this age...

According to CBS2, "A 16-year-old has been arrested by CRPD after police say the minor was driving a stolen rental car."

Here's what happened: CRPD got a call of a careless driver that was traveling north on I-380. The car was a rental that had been reported stolen. This kid is about to be in a whole lot of trouble!

Officers tried to pulled the car over a few times with no luck. The young man continued to travel down interstate 380. He finally pulled over at I-380 and 29th Street NE. Police took the young fella into custody without incident.

The CBS2 story had no other information and the name of the driver was not listed. I'm guessing the 16-year-old will be grounded for a very long time.

I just hope he wasn't smoking in the rental car....that's another $250 fine he will have to pay.
