As of today, we're one month into the official winter season in Iowa, which is just depressing. So... let's turn our thoughts to warm weather and one of Cedar Rapids' most popular events of the entire year, the Downtown Farmers' Market!

This year's first market will be Saturday, May 25. The full schedule of Saturday morning markets for 2019 is below. Each one is held from 7:30 am to noon.

  • Saturday, May 25
  • Saturday, June 1
  • Saturday, June 15
  • Saturday, July 6
  • Saturday, July 20
  • Saturday, August 3
  • Saturday, August 17
  • Saturday, September 21

The 2019 Market After Dark will be held Saturday, August 24. It's the fifth straight year the market has included an evening session. Hours are from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m.

You may have noticed the final regular market will be held September 21 this year. That's a couple weeks later than normal and was changed because you asked for it! Your hunt for gourds, pumpkins, apples, and other fall produce should get a big boost with the final market happening on the third Saturday in September.
