It's a MAJOR AWARD!

Last week I mentioned on the air that it's my dream to own an official leg lamp from the movie "A Christmas Story." It's one of my favorite movies of all time and I would love to have "the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window," but unfortunately, the lamp I want is $200+ (click HERE to see how awesome it is!). Maybe I should just build my own...

According to Good Morning America, the huge lamp was created using "a pool pole, Christmas lights, wood, cardboard, a volleyball net, fabric and old curtains." It's actually the second year Tom Gross put the lamp up in Iowa, but it's getting national attention this year, as well as local attention. Tom told GMA, "People either realize what it is and freak out, or don’t know why I have a leg in my yard. If they get it, they throw the flashers on and get out of the car and have a picture taken with it."

I'm not gonna lie, I 100% started planning a road trip to West Des Moines the second I saw this headline. I'm going to try REALLY hard to go see it sometime in the next week. If you're also interested, the lamp is located on the 200th block of 8th Street in West Des Moines. I'm sure it won't be difficult to find.
