According to the Iowa City Press-Citizen, BrrrFest is actually Iowa's second-largest beer festival. The largest is the Iowa Craft Beer Festival at Waterworks Park in Des Moines. Guests will be able to sample and purchase craft beers at 60 different Iowa breweries, including local favorites like Big Grove Brewery, Iowa Brewing Co.Lion Bridge Brewing Co.Millstream Brewing Co.Toppling Goliath Brewing Co., and Wilson's Orchard. When the festival first started, they had to include breweries from all over the Midwest, but now that Iowa's craft beer scene has taken off, all 60 participating breweries in 2024 are here in the state!

In addition to beer-tasting, BrrrFest attendees can also enjoy the Iowa Women's Basketball game against Nebraska on the big screen, plus food and pretzel necklaces will be available for purchase.

Although "Brewmaster" tickets are sold out, there are still general admission tickets available. The $50 ticket includes a commemorative glass and can be purchased online HERE. The event is for ages 21+ only and runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
