Best New Songs For Christmas 2015
With each Christmas, there's so many of the traditional songs you'll hear. And while we love everyone of them, there's also a ton of new songs submitted each year. Many are covers of all those familiar titles, while some are completely new songs. We've added quite a few of them into the mix this year. Here's 9 of the best!
- 1
Stevie Wonder feat. Andra Day - Someday at Christmas
Stevie Wonder's original was so good, you may have thought there'd be no improving. We've been proven wrong, as this teaming with Andra Day makes the song more passionate and emotional, and we can't get enough. It is the feature song for Apple's holiday campaign.
- 2
Meghan Trainor - I'll Be Home
When we first saw this song, we thought it would be a cover of "I'll Be Home For Christmas", and were pleasantly surprised to find out it is not. It's an amazing original, that came out last year, when Meghan was just starting to become a household name. It's surged this year, which is why it has made this list.
- 3
LeAnn Rimes feat. Gavin DeGraw - Celebrate Me Home
There's a lot of debate on whether or not Kenny Loggins' song is a pure Christmas tune. For me, you really only hear it during the holidays, and it's all about coming home for the holidays, so YES, it is. And this cover by LeAnn and Gavin makes this great song sound even more amazing.

Train - Merry Christmas Everybody
Train has put out some Christmas singles in the past, but never a full album until this year's 'Christmas in Tahoe', which feature the original single "Merry Christmas Everybody." It's a great tune that reminds more of the Beatles than Train. We'll see if it stands the test of time. I'm hoping so, although I do love "Shake It Up, it's Christmas" a little bit more. It was recorded a couple years ago, and re-released as part of this new album.
- 5
Seal - This Christmas
It's been a while since we've had a great new song from Seal. Even if it's a Christmas cover, we'll take it. He does a wonderful job using his cool, smooth voice to add to the joy and fun of "This Christmas", making it a new holiday staple.
- 6
Pentatonix - Joy To The World
Pentatonix has quickly become a holiday staple. This year they add a few new songs to the mix, including this fantastic cover.
- 7
India.Aire and Joe Sample Feat. Tori Kelley - Favorite Time of Year
India.Aire has a phenomenal voice, and we're really enjoying her new Christmas album with Joe Sample, 'Christmas With Friends'. While "Let It Snow" is our favorite cover, the new "Favorite Time of Year" is our top pick.
- 8
Band of Merrymakers feat. Natasha Bedingfield - Wishlist
Band of Merrymakers is a supergroup featuring members of Sugar Ray, Neon Trees, Fitz and the Tantrums, Owl City, and more, all put together by songwriter Sam Hollander and Better Than Ezra's Kevin Griffin. If you're looking for a fun new Christmas album, this is it, set off by this fun, upbeat single.

Michael Buble - The More You Give (The More You'll Have)
It's just not the holidays without a new offering from Michael Buble anymore. While this isn't our all time favorite from him, it's another fantastic tune, that starts slow, and really picks up, with a great message.
