Bargain shoppers will have a new store to frequent starting this spring as Burlington has announced a new location is coming to the Corridor.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is set to open up a new store in Coralville. The target opening day is May 10th. The new store will open in a building that used to house a Bed, Bath, and Beyond at 2515 Corridor Way in Coralville. This is the second former Bed, Bath, and Beyond store in the area to find a new tenant. The location at 4840 1st Avenue in Cedar Rapids will be the home to a Harbor Freight location.

This will be the second Burlington location in the Corridor. A store in the Westdale development opened in September of 2016, according to the Gazette. Burlington is an off-price department store retailer with more than 1,000 stores in 40 states. The Gazette reports that they are the nation's third largest off-price retailer after TJX Companies and Ross Stores.

Burlington sells everything from dresses, suits, coats, sportswear, menswear, footwear, and baby clothing, to home decor and gift items. The Coralville location is expected to hire between 65 to 75 employees, according to the Gazette.
