Cans Film Festival – Help the Salvation Army Fill the Food Pantry

It's an annual holiday tradition that is a big part of our community.

The “Cans Film Festival” at Wehrenberg’s Galaxy 16 Cine in Cedar Rapids is this Saturday December 3rd.

Your generous donations over the years have helped stock the shelves with canned food for the Salvation Army Food Pantry

The good people at Wehrenberg’s make it fun by offering free movie tickets for donations. The more food you bring, the "funner" it is!

This Saturday when you donate 5 canned food items you receive a free admission for any movie before 5 p.m. that day. If you bring an additional 10 cans, you will also get a bonus movie pass to be used at a later date!

You may have seen the news in the Gazette that the Wehrenberg’s theater was recently sold to the Marcus Theater group, so we'd like to ask you to help make this Saturday's event their biggest ever!
