CBS2 Your Health Expo Returns

A fun event that's free returns this April as KDAT joins CBS2 and Fox 28 once again this year, for the "CBS2 Your Health Expo".

I was part of this on a "working" basis with the radio station last year for the first time but who can call it "work"? We got to meet and talk to so many listeners and pass out free information and station swag.

It starts with FREE admission and parking. Over 60 health, fitness and wellness vendors (and us) are on hand with free door prizes and to talk with you about their products and services for FREE. The first 1,000 visitors through door get a free tote bag and you get to participate in health screenings, cooking demos,. watch main stage entertainment and listen to guest speakers, all for absolutely FREE. It features a Kids Zone, with Papa Balloon and his pals, inflatable obstacle course, bounce house and more.

We'll be there along with our friends at CBS2 and Fox 28 for you to meet and greet with us, and if you've ever wanted to know what it's like to be a weatherman, they are giving the chance to try it out in front of their "green screen".

So come see us, at the Doubletree Convention Complex in downtown Cedar Rapids, on Sunday, April 14 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.!
