There's no denying the fall winds are blowing in, and it's just a matter of time until the leaves start changing colors.  This also means it's a great time to take beautiful family photos.  When it comes to fall photos, there's a couple things to consider, like color and fall themes.  That being said, here's some ideas for the perfect location.

    Bloomsbury Farm

Fall themes aplenty with this photo stop, plus for so many, it's part tradition.  Whether you want a fun photo picking pumpkins, getting lost in the corn maze, sitting in the corn grain bin, or simply sitting on the big chair, Bloomsbury Farm gives you lots of options, as well as a fun family outing.

    Indian Creek

Nothing puts you more in the fall mood than a walk in the woods, surrounded by all the beautiful fall colors.  Just think how perfect of a back drop it'll make for your fall photos too.  This makes Indian Creek an ideal location.  Even better, they've got a fall color guided hike coming up mid October. Not only will you get directed to the best colors, but there'll be plenty others with you to snap the photos.

    Wilson's Orchard

Nothing says fall like apple picking.  Not only is another fun family activity and tradition, but it can also make for some great photos.  At Wilson's, there's so many acres of apple trees to roam. Of course, there's also a hay ride, which is perfect for other fun photos.

    Bever Park

There are so many beautiful parks in Cedar Rapids, but Bever has an extra perk, as not only do you get rolling hills and plenty of trees filled with fall color, you also get Old MacDonald's Farm for more fun and photo ops.  There's also a couple of playground which to me can also make for very interesting and fun photos.

    KidsFest

Nothing says fall more than kids in costumes... Halloween.  A perfect photo opportunity presents itself Saturday, October 24th at Kids Fest.  Not only will the kids be in costume, but there's so many fun activities they'll be able to enjoy, including the kid friendly haunted house and monster dash.  You know they'll be all smiles, which is perfect for those photos of course. And you'll be smiling too, as the event is free for the kids, and only $5 for the parents.
