Cedar Rapids Schools Closed Through Friday

The Cedar Rapids School District announced that schools and district offices will be closed through Friday due to transit issues cause by the flooding of the Cedar River. Some custodial, maintenance, and grounds employees will be reporting for work.

In a press release from the school district, officials say classes will resume on Monday. A makeup day has been set for June 2.
