Cedar Rapids Top Five Homes

When you're new to the area, it's natural to spend some time driving around checking out neighborhoods, looking at homes for sale.

With my GPS set, I traveled the streets of Cedar Rapids recently, looking for the perfect place to call "home". While the average price in Cedar Rapids is higher than the state median, there are still plenty of bargains out there.

Estimated median house or condo value in 2013: $138,100 (it was $92,900 in 2000)

I have found plenty of Dream Homes in Cedar Rapids, but they carry a price that may be just a bit out of my reach.
