On Monday (April 9), Kesha released a video for "I Need a Woman"—her contribution to Universal Love, a six-song collection that reimagines classic wedding songs with the theme of inclusion.

The clip for her rendition of Janis Joplin's "I Need a Man to Love" with the gender pronouns flipped documents the wedding of real-life couple Dani and Lindsay at the Bellagio on the Vegas Strip, which the Rainbows singer officiated. After the moving visuals' release, the lucky couple chatted with Entertainment Weekly about the experience of getting married by Kesha.

"We loved her before, and we love her even more now. She was so sweet, so down to earth, talked with all of our family and friends," Dani gushed. "She was very nervous. You can see in the video how she’s like, 'I hope it all goes right.' She was very nervous about making sure that our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be. We were just so happy."

"I’ve always admired the way she’s been an ally and stood up for anyone that’s been bullied or a misfit or anything like that, that’s really near and dear to my heart," Lindsay adds. "But I would never in a million years have thought that she would officiate our wedding."

The wedding was on March 26, which is the anniversary of the first same-sex marriage license in the U.S.
