Five Things Worth Looking Forward to This Week

Easter candy at half price. Jellybeans! Chocolate bunnies! Cadbury Eggs! Reese‘s peanut butter cups! You name it I’ll claim it, and all at 50% off thank you very much!

Not paying my taxes on April 15. This year I’m actually going to owe a little bit to the IRS. I don’t mind owing the government a little tax money. And this year because of you-know-what, I get to delay paying them for a few more weeks...or months.

Golf. OK maybe not real golf. There must be a half dozen golf apps I have yet to try. Golf King, Golf Clash, Golf Shootout. You get the idea. Hey, just like you I’ve got a little extra time on my hands so I might as well put it to good use.

Doing nothin'. I don’t have so much time on my hands that I’m binge watching anything. But I have discovered a couple new documentary series that I’m enjoying. Would I be considered square if I told you I liked the Ottoman Empire and The Universe series on Netflix?

Stimulus Checks. I’m also looking forward to see how many friends and family members get their stimulus checks deposited into their bank accounts this week. We all know someone who really needs the money, and this is the week those dollars should start rolling in.

The one thing I’m looking most forward to this week is to just get another seven days behind us in this whole coronavirus crisis. We are all growing weary of staying at home. But so many others have it so much worse. I'll try my best to pitch in and help out as best I can, and do whatever it takes to put some gratitude in my attitude.
