Former Miss Iowa to Appear on New Season of ‘The Bachelor’
If you're a fan of the hit ABC reality show "The Bachelor", you'll be happy to learn that the Season 24 bachelor has been announced and an Iowan is competing for his love.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports that this year's "Bachelor" is none other than Delta Airlines pilot, Peter Weber. Pilot Pete is quite the catch, so hopefully, sparks will fly between him and Iowa native Kelsey Weier. Weier is from Des Moines where she graduated from Dowling Catholic High School. She was crowned Miss Iowa 2017 and has been working full-time as a professional color and extensions specialist since 2013.
Weier won the Iowa crown, and now she'll be will be one of the lucky ladies in the lineup hoping to win pilot Pete's heart. We won't have to wait too long to see if the chemistry takes off between Weier and Weber. "The Bachelor" is scheduled to air on ABC on Monday, January 6 at 8 p.m. Good luck Kelsey, Iowa loves you!
