If you're looking for a family fun event to celebrate Halloween in Hiawatha, look no further than Guthridge Park on Sunday, October 28th.

Prestige Dance Studio and the Hiawatha Parks & Recreation Department host "Fall Festival" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It's a free event that will feature trick-or-treating by local vendors,  a bounce house and a trackless train.

Prestige Dance Studio will perform at 11:30, the Hi-Crew Kiwanis Club will host a costume contest at noon, followed by live music from New Horizons Band at 1:30.

Bundle up, because the weather might be a little chilly, but there's no place like Hiawatha for safe, free family fun. Parents can still visit the Hiawatha Farmers' Market that day, also in Guthridge Park for the duration of the Fall Fest.

For more information, visit the Hiawatha Fall Festival event page on Facebook, or the City of Hiawatha website.

Two days before Fall Festival is the Strictly Teal Trunk or Treat event at Guthridge Park. Kids with food allergies or special diets can trick-or-treat in a safe environment from 4:30-5:30 p.m on Saturday, October 27th.
