One of the most unique things you'll see anywhere during the holiday season will embark on eastern Iowa, beginning this Sunday. It's the 20th year for the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train and it's absolutely gorgeous!

Two trains, three weeks, and over 150 cities in the U.S. and Canada and this December it includes several eastern Iowa stops! Here's the schedule of where it will be in Iowa, and when:

Sunday, December 2

Muscatine: 7:30 pm arrival on the city's west end of Riverside Park at Chestnut Street and Harbor Drive. Event from 7:45 to 8:15 with The Trews and Willy Porter performing. *Note: They will perform at each Iowa event.

Monday, December 3

Ottumwa: 10:45 a.m. arrival at the CP Station at 1300 Wildwood Drive, across 134 from Kohl's. Event from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, December 4

Davenport: 1:45 p.m. arrival at the corner of Western Avenue and West River Drive. Event from 2 to 2:30 p.m.

Clinton: 4:15 p.m. arrival time on the east end of Main Avenue, near Sawmill Museum. Event from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

Bellevue: 6:45 p.m. arrival time in the Horizon Lanes parking lot at the corner of Jefferson Ave. & Elizabeth Street. Event from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

Dubuque: 8:30 p.m. arrival time at the Hawthorne Street railway crossing at the corner of Hawthorne Street and Rhomberg Avenue. Event from 8:45 to 9:15 p.m.

Wednesday, December 5

Guttenberg: 12:45 p.m. arrival time on the east side of the Schiller Street Railroad Crossing. Event from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

Marquette: 2:45 p.m. arrival time in the Marina parking lot, north of the Casino Queen Marquette at Water Street and Highway 76. Event from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

Lansing: 4:50 p.m. arrival time at Ball Park Field on South Front Street between North 2nd and Dodge Street. Event from 5 to 5:30 p.m.

New Albin: 6:15 p.m. arrival time in the parking lot adjacent to the CP tracks on Railroad Street between Ross Avenue and Oak Street. Event from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

There is no cost for the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. They do collect donations for local food banks in the communities where the company's employees work and live. Hopefully, you can make one of the stops above... something tells me nobody in your family will be disappointed if you do.
