Holiday Trash Collection Delays

The City of Cedar Rapids reports that due to Monday being Memorial Day, trash and recycling will not be collected.

Your normal trash pick-up will occur one day later this week, including Saturday, when normal Friday collection will take place. Later in the summer, a similar delay will be in place to observe Labor Day.

Elsewhere, the same delay goes for Hiawatha trash and recycling collection this week. The Marion Solid Waste department has a one-day delay as well.
