Back in operation since July 1, the Cedar Rapids traffic cameras have already issued over 4600 tickets in just one month. That's a lot of money and a lot of lawbreakers. SLOW DOWN and here's where the cameras are: RED LIGHT CAMERAS:

    For the record, CBS2 News reports: 574 drivers were caught going 26-30 MPH over the speed limit - and at $500 a pop this equals $287,000 in fines. Another 2131 speeders were ticketed going 21-25 MPH over the speed limit. and at $250 for each ticket, that $532,750 for the city. Yep, it pays to slow down.
