Iowa's Consumable Hemp Program

According to the Gazette, Iowa's consumable hemp program allows users to consume THC but the amount of THC is limited and this includes all food, drinks, or lotions. The THC product is limited to 0.3% by weight. For example, a 12-ounce beverage at 0.3 percent is 1.02 grams or 1,020 milligrams.

Iowa does have a medical marijuana program that allows people with certain medical conditions to buy a maximum of 4.5 grams of THC per 90 days.
