Lightwire Theater to Bring an ‘Electric Christmas’ to Dubuque
A riveting, colorful, and you could fittingly say "electric" holiday event is coming to Dubuque's Five Flags Center just in time for the Christmas season.
Lightwire Theater's A Very Electric Christmas is a truly one-of-a-kind event. Employing electroluminescent artistry, the show features neon-clad performers, props, and decorations that explode with color against a black backdrop. It's an immersive experience that marries impeccable performing arts with poignant storytelling.

Tom Robbins of Five Flags Center dropped by to talk about the upcoming show, which will happen on Saturday, November 29th at 3pm in the venue's theater, assuring an intimate setting for such a vibrant spectacle.
A Very Electric Christmas, however, is more than just a spectacle. It tells a personal story:
Follow the story of a young bird, named Max and his family, as they begin their journey south for the winter. When Max gets blown off course and ends up at the North Pole…his adventure begins! Dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettia’s, light up the stage[....] - per Five Flag Center's website
This is an all-ages show with music that spans generations; the soundtrack includes holiday favorites from Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, and Tchaikovsky. Those numbers will probably find themselves taking on new dimension while scoring a show that's already enhanced by eye-grabbing illumination despite being performed in complete darkness.
Tickets to Lightwire Theater's A Very Electric Christmas at the Five Flags Center are already on sale at the venue's website. Furthermore, Lightwire Theater has seen exposure on shows like CBS Sunday Morning, which goes to show their popularity on a domestic level. You can find out more about them on their official website.
