According to a report from the National Restaurant Association, in 2022 there were 6,474 eating and drinking places in the entire Hawkeye State. These spots provided 125,800 jobs to Iowans in 2022.

It is estimated that $6.4 billion dollars were made from eating and drinking sales in Iowa that very same year.

Every single time you spend a $1 at any restaurant in the Hawkeye State, you contribute $1.85 to the state economy.
