The singer, actress, designer and busy mom of two has finally made an official Instagram profile and quickly used it for both promotional, professional and personal purposes. Well, that's what it's there for!

For her debut post, she shared a snap of her Redbook cover, which finds Simpson wearing a floral ensemble and an ear-to-ear grin. She glows. So while in the caption she joked that she joined Instagram before it becomes uncool, she also used it to promote her mag cover.

J. Simps followed her first post up with a "family" moment, which is a pic of her nestled between her baby sister Ashlee and Ash's new fiance Evan Ross, son of diva Diana. Check out how Ashlee is being a hair sniffer with her sis. That's lurve.

Simpson also shared a photo of a smooch with her baby girl Maxwell Drew, who will be 2 in May. Maxie has mommy's golden locks. What a looker.
