Job Fairs Announced at Iowa Amazon Delivery Center

The Amazon Delivery Center in Grimes is set to become a huge boost to Iowa's economy and is now ready to offer about a thousand jobs to Iowans.

Employment fairs to fill these positions will be held this week at the following locations:

• Wednesday: Goodwill of Central Iowa at 5355 NW 86th Street in Johnston from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Thursday: The Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families at 1171 7th Street in Des Moines from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday: The IowaWORKS satellite office in the Park Fair Mall at 100 East Euclid Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For $15 per hour, it could be worth a drive to take a chance on one of these 60 plum positions. The delivery center is located at 1301 SE Gateway Drive in Grimes. Learn more from the Des Moines Register.
