104-5 KDAT is proud to welcome an incredible concert at the Great Jones County Fair this summer. It's the 25th Anniversary/reunion tour of Hootie & The Blowfish, and it stops in Monticello on Friday night, July 19 at 8 p.m.. They will be joined by special guests Barenaked Ladies.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the GJCF website.
Hootie & The Blowfish joined together in 1986 but rose to mainstream success with the album "Cracked Rear View" in 1994, and a string of hits that included "Hold My Hand", "Let Her Cry, "Only Want To be With You" and "Time".
The band went on hiatus in 2008 as Darius Rucker pursued a solo career, skyrocketing up the country charts with "Don't Think I Don't Think About" and "Wagon Wheel" among others.
