Man Breaks Record For Most Walnuts Smashed With Forehead

Every day, I think we've seen the bottom of the barrel of Guinness World Record ideas, and then a headline rolls across the desk that proves to me there are still some records we never would think to break.

A 27-year-old guy named Naveen Kumar used his forehead to smash the raw common walnuts, breaking the record of 254 broken walnuts in a minute with his own new record.

The record was previously held by Muhammad Rashid, who set the 254 walnut record. In 2014, Rashid set the record at 150 walnuts, and then broke the record again in 2016 at 181 walnuts.

Our new record holder, Naveen Kumar, took the record from Rashid back in 2017, after he managed to break 217 walnuts.

The two men went head-to-head in a Guinness World Records challenge on an Italian TV show later that year, with the results ending up with Rashid setting the record at 254, and Kumar falling just behind at 239 walnuts.

Rahsid said he trained with Prabhakar Reddy, a serial-record breaker for all things martial arts.

Naveen now holds the record again, at 273 walnuts smashed with his forehead in 1 minute.
