Mom’s The Inspiration

With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's time to celebrate the woman who has inspired you to be the best you, and maybe even to be a great mom. At KDAT, we want to join in your celebration of Mom, and would love to hear your stories. And we've put together a nice prize for some of the most deserving moms too! Just click the link below and fill out the form telling us all about your mom, and how she's inspired you.  We'll be choosing 5 moms to receive flowers from Pecks and an hour long facial massage from Massage Envy.  But that's not all.  You see, there's a band coming to town had a song in the 80's that was all about "Inspiration", and we're guessing Mom may have been a big fan of them.  Even better, they're coming to town in May.  If you haven't guessed by now, that band is Chicago.

(And yes, we know "You're the Inspiration" is a romance song, but the chorus line works for Mom too...)

We'll collect all your stories through Sunday night.  Starting Monday, during the 4pm hour, I'll be celebrating one of those moms, and reading off her story on the air.  She'll receive the flowers, facial massage, and a pair of tickets to the Chicago concert.  But we'll save our favorite story for Friday.  And THAT Mom won't just get any tickets to the show.  She'll get premium seats, AND she'll get to meet the band!  What a special Mother's Day gift.
