According to KCRG, "Starting Monday, parts of an intersection at Center Point Road in Cedar Rapids will close for work."

Just we wanted to hear, right?! I'm kidding, of course. I know it's that time of the year, but I'm tired of all the road closed signs here in Cedar Rapids! It feels like the entire city is under construction, and it's starting to get really old.

The construction will impact eastbound and westbound traffic of the Northeast portion of 32nd street. This project won't be done anytime soon. It looks like it will be a minimum of 8 weeks before construction will be completed.

You WILL be able to turn left or right onto Center Point Road, but you won't be able to drive through the intersection. I plan to visit this spot later this week, and take pictures for a construction story I'm working on.

In the meantime, drive safe!
