New Arena in Coralville to Host Major Wrestling Tournament

According to CBS2, "Xtream Arena is not open yet, but we already know one of the first major events it will host."

The new arena in Coralville will be hosting the USA Wrestling Senior Nationals. The meet will take place on the weekend of October 9th and wrap up on October 11th, 2020.

If you plan on attending, you'll see some of the best wrestlers in the country competing in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. It sounds like this is is going to be a pretty cool event and I just hope that things don't change as far as allowing fans in the venue.

The Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse is located at 200 East 9th Street in Coralville. This new arena will seat up to 6,600 people. It will also be the home arena for the University of Iowa Women's Volleyball team.

I think the Xtream Arena will be a great addition to Eastern Iowa. Hopefully more events can booked in Coralville including concerts and special events in this brand new venue.
