I think we can all agree that Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the best cereal, right?  You're, of course, welcome to your opinion...but you'd be wrong if you dissagree.

It's the best for a couple different reasons.

  1. You don't need milk to enjoy it.  Most other cereal requires milk to be palatable.  Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a delight even with just a dry handful.
  2. Consistency. And I don't mean texture.  I mean there are no other flavors battling for dominance. No "crunch berries" or different shapes that try and add sugary goodness to an otherwise bland grain-like formation.
  3. CTC (as the cool kids call it) creates the best milk to swig after you're done enjoying the cereal.  Protip: Don't dilute the milk with more milk when you add more cereal. Get a double hit of that cinnamon goodness.

That being said...the old school quality of Lucky Charms is nothing to sneeze at.  It's good in it's own right.

Plus with St. Patrick's Day coming around the corner...there's always a need to celebrate in the morning before you hit that Guinness & Corned Beef. They've figured out a way to improve the cereal...if only through the milk byproduct.

Just released...the new "limited-edition" version of Lucky Charms has been released in celebration of St. Patrick's Day this year.  And when you finish eating it, it'll leave your milk GREEN.  Right now, when you finish a bowl of Lucky Charms, all of the color dyes from the marshmallows leave your milk a kind of greyish sludge color.  So, this is a welcome improvement.

These Lucky Charms just went on sale today and should be available through next month.
