The ongoing pandemic hasn't exactly been great for local businesses. It seems like we hear about a closure every few days. But a couple from North Liberty used the situation to start up a company that helps people escape the trials and tribulations of everyday life.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that Kate Connell and Matt Potts simply combined three of their favorite things; nature, spending time with loved ones, and traveling. The company they created is called Away in an Airstream, a luxury trailer rental business based in North Liberty, Iowa. The couple has a 2021 Airstream Bambi 19cb that they will deliver to a 40-mile radius. Owners can also tow the shiny RV themselves.

The Gazette reports that the past several months, the little Airstream has been busy. It has visited Vermont, and also stops out west including the Badlands, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park. When it's not booked, Connell says her family enjoys taking it on trips too. The family has camped locally and is planning a trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula this fall. She says that experience allows them to better think about how they can make the camper better for customers.

A retractable awning with LED lights will make nights look amazing! The couple says that the RV is perfect for camping newbies, or more experienced travelers.
