A popular restaurant will be making a triumphant return to the city it was started in!

The people behind P.H.A.T. Daddy's announced on Facebook this morning that they will be opening a new location in Marengo. The restaurant will be located at 1041 Court Avenue in the former Brown’s Hardware building. The announcement reads:

"We missed everyone so much that we’ve decided to come back!
Dine in & carry-out (and of course, our catering services too)."

P.H.A.T. Daddy's moved out of their location in the Amana Colonies back in June after four years, but the cooking didn't stop. They have been running a catering business out of Marengo for the past few months. They will continue catering at the new location, but it will also be an actual dine-in restaurant.

We had the pleasure of eating Listener Lunch at P.H.A.T. Daddy's last year, and we were HUGE fans of the wood-fired pizza. Lots of comments on the announcement post feature different variations of the same question: will pizza be returning to the menu at the new location? I guess we will have to wait and see! We don't have an opening date yet, either. The post simply says, "stay tuned for more info!"
