The Iowa Lottery has confirmed that someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Davenport is now $50,000 richer. The ticket that won the five-figure prize bought the ticket for the Saturday, March 1st, 2025 drawing.

It's time to check your tickets now before you find it washed up in your clothes and you can't claim it anymore.

In a social media post on Monday, officials confirmed that a Powerball ticket sold in Davenport is $50,000.

The ticket, which matched four white balls and the Powerball, was sold at KC Brothers, 214 Myrtle St., Davenport.

The winning numbers from Saturday's drawing were 2-23-36-44-49, Powerball: 25. Powerball prizes won in Iowa must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. The lottery reminds players to double-check their tickets.

$500,000 Winner In Eastern Iowa

Recently, a big winner for the Iowa Lottery came out of Iowa City.

Jeffery Wolf of Iowa City won $500,000, the fourth top prize in the Iowa Lottery's “Mega Bucks” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 1125 N. Dodge St. in Iowa City, and claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Clive.

Three other Iowans have won a Mega Bucks top prize since the game debuted in September of 2024. One of those winner was a Quad Cities native, Debora Dunn of Bettendorf.
