Powerball Jackpot Now Up To $400 Million

There was no Powerball winner over the weekend. That's good news for all of us and we have a chance this Wednesday to be the big winner!

The Powerball jackpot has now swelled to almost $400 million. The cash option will net you around $275 million dollars. That's crazy cash for just a two dollar bet.

I did some math and figured out what the taxes would be on a prize like that. If you pay back around 35%, that would mean you would have to write a check to the IRS for about $96 million dollars.

The next drawing is this Wednesday, January 29th. I plan to play my favorite set of numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Powerball 6. People think I'm crazy, but that sequence is going to come in one of these times!
