A large section of I-380 in Johnson County will be closed to motorists starting later on today. Interstate 380 northbound will be closed from I-80 to Forevergreen Road for emergency repairs starting at 7 p.m. tonight. It will reopen to traffic at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The ramps from I-80 West and I-80 East to I-380 Northbound will also be closed. Also, I-80 West will have a right lane closed on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night ending Thursday 12/5 at 6 a.m.

If this is part of your commute during these hours, there are some alternate routes that you can take. If you're driving on I-380 Northbound south of the I-380/I-80 interchange, make a right on I-80, get off at Coral Ridge Road exit, drive north to Forevergreen Road, and follow to I-380 where you can resume driving northbound.

If you're driving I-80 Eastbound and Westbound, get off at the Coral Ridge Road exit, drive north to Forevergreen Road, and then follow to I-380 Northbound.
