Quinn is a 20 pound rat terrier mix who is somewhere around 14 to 16 years old. She's a sweet, senior dog who was seized with her son Caesar (also up for adoption) from a neglectful situation in Missouri. Both dogs were then taken to a local pound where they faced euthanasia. They've had a rough life to say the least, but thankfully, Safe Haven of Iowa County scooped them up and now they are looking for a loving home to spend the rest of their days TOGETHER.

Being senior pups, they do have some special needs. Quinn has "congestive heart failure (CHF) and a grade 4 heart murmur", so she's on some medication. In fact she just had a scare recently, but thankfully has recovered. Safe Haven posted the scary incident to their Facebook page.

Caesar is between 12 and 14 years old and is slightly overweight, coming in at a round 30 pounds. Other than needing some diet and exercise, he's in good shape.

The mother and son duo share a strong bond, so they will be adopted out together. An ideal home for these two would be a quiet, calm environment with few to no stairs. If you're interested in making these two sweet, senior Terriers a part of your home fill out a Safe Haven adoption application HERE.
