The summer concert series continues to heat up, as it was just announced Monday that Ben Folds is coming to the McGrath Amphitheatre July 18th.  Tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 10am, but we've got your presale code now.

With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's time to celebrate the woman who has inspired you to be the best you, and maybe even to be a great mom. At KDAT, we want to join in your celebration of Mom, and would love to hear your stories. And we've put together a nice prize for some of the most deserving moms too!

Being a music guy, and, well, younger, I'm not the biggest fan of NPR.  Maybe I'm just ignorant.  But when a radio legend is coming to town, I definitely "geek out" for a moment, no matter what it's background.  It's how I'm feeling about the news that the legendary Garrison Keilor's "Prairie Home Companion" is coming to town.

Here's yet another reason why we are absolutely in love with the Cedar Rapids Public Library.  They are helping get you excited for the Chicago concert with a special event coming to the library next week, entitled "Jazz In The Stacks".

It was just announced Friday that the legendary rockers, Chicago, are kicking off the summer concert series at the McGrath Amphitheatre, presented by 104-5 KDAT.  So of course, we've grabbed tickets for you to win, before they go on sale.  It's just a matter of how well you know... CHICAGO!
