Beachy Pop Legends And 90s Teen Icons Team Up At State Fair

Wouldn't it be nice to hear a little MMMBop this summer? Well here's your chance as the Iowa State Fair announces a fun addition to its Grandstand lineup.

When you think about the sounds of summer, it doesn't take long for your mind to approach the legendary Beach Boys who, with special guest Hanson, will take the Kum & Go Grandstand stage August 18th at 8 p.m. It's been 30 years since the purveyors of California pop and songs like "Kokomo", "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "Surfin' USA", "I Get Around" and many others spanning a career of over a half-century have taken to the Iowa State Fair Grandstand. Hanson will be back in Des Moines less than a year after playing Adventureland's 2018 Oktoberfest.
