NewBo to Theatre Cedar Rapids

Halloween doesn't have to be just a kids holiday!  Test out that costume a couple days before the big day, and run between Theatre Cedar Rapids and NewBo City Market with some themed obstacles along the way, including a run through a haunted house.

What was "Run the Flood" has now become "Flood the Run".  It's a whole new take, still supporting great charities, still supporting the water theme.  Dodge super soaker snipers and water balloons, jump through puddles and down the giant slip and slide.  Get soaked while supporting the Salvation Army and Matthew 25.  Great way to cool off on a hot day.

There have been a ton of these lately, all across the area.  Everyone loves them. You wear the white shirt and come out covered in all sorts of colors.  We recommend you pick at least one of these to do each year!  From Hiawatha's "Splash a Smile", to "Run or Dye", "Color Vibe", and "Color Dash" in Cedar Rapids or Iowa City's "Color Your Campus", pick one and have fun!

Unfortunately, this race only was around for 2 years, with the 2nd and final event being held in 2012.  While it was a great test of power and skill (as it was hosted by Crossfit), how cool is the idea of running around town after midnight dressed as Ninjas!  Who wouldn't love that.
