The Corridor is Home to the Best Cheesecake in All of Iowa

If you've got a sweet tooth, there's a restaurant over in Iowa City that you really need to try!

This week, I discovered an article from Love Food titled, "The Best Cheesecake in Every State." To be honest with you, I've never been a fan of cheesecake (it's a consistency thing), but pretty much every person I've ever met thinks I'm crazy. That includes my mom! She has a recipe for a white chocolate raspberry swirl cheesecake that people actually BEG her to make for them.

If you're wondering where you can get the very best cheesecake in the entire state of Iowa, look no further! According to the article, Baroncini Ristorante in Iowa City is the place to go. The restaurant is located at 104 S. Linn Street and offers all sorts of good-looking Italian dishes, but make sure you save room for dessert! There are eight options on the dessert menu, including something called the Torta Al Mascarpone. That's the cheesecake chosen by Love Food as the best in the whole state! The article reads:

"At Baroncini, an Italian restaurant in Iowa City, there’s a cheesecake made with mascarpone that's caramelised on top like an extra-decadent crème brûlée. It's served with strawberry sauce and fresh berries for the perfect balance of tart and sweet. It's no wonder it gets five-star ratings."
