Earlier this week, the official lineup for the 2022 Hinterland Music Festival in Saint Charles, Iowa was revealed, and there are a few big names on there! This year's annual event is set for August 4th through 7th at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheatre, and headliners include Glass Animals and Phoebe Bridgers.

The festival will kickoff on Thursday, April 4th with headliner Billy Strings, an up-and-coming bluegrass artist that often blends musical genres. He actually released a collaboration with country star Luke Combs called "The Great Divide" in 2021. Acts that will hit the stage before Billy include Sierra Ferrell, The Texas Gentleman, and Riddy Arman.

The alternative band Glass Animals, known for their hit song "Heat Waves," will take the Hinterland stage on Friday, August 5th, along with Rainbow Kitten Surprise and other smaller acts like The Aces, Briston Maroney, and Goth Babe.

On Saturday, August 6th, there are eight artists set to perform throughout the day, ending with Lake Street Dive, Trampled by Turtles, and headline Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, a contemporary rock group out of Colorado.

And finally, indie artist Phoebe Bridgers will take the stage on Sunday, August 7th. Phoebe has gained popularity in recent years and is a big draw for the festival. She gave a very memorable performance on SNL back in April, and was even featured on Taylor Swift's song "Nothing New" from her re-released Red album. Her most recent EP Day After Tomorrow was released in November of last year. Other acts set for the Sunday lineup include Kurt Vile & the Violators, Lucy Dacus, and more.

Tickets for the Hinterland Music Festival will go on sale to the public this Friday, February 4th at 10 a.m. In addition to four-day passes, there are also VIP and camping packages available. You can get more information HERE.
