A youth soccer camp in Waterloo has landed three Olympic champions as coaches.

KWWL reports that Mia Hamm, Kristin Lilly, and Tisha Venturini will be in attendance coaching at the camp in March at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex in Waterloo. Dates for the Youth Camp (Grades K-8) are Saturday, March 2 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 3 from 9 a.m.-noon.  It's $250 to attend this co-ed camp,

The High School camp, for co-ed players Grades 9-12, is Sunday, March 3 from 4:30-8:30. Cost for this session is $150.

It sounds like an excellent opportunity for young aspiring soccer stars to meet these Olympic gold medalists and National champions who are legends of the game and inspirations to many,

Hamm, Lilly and Venturini said in a statement, "We’re excited to spread the love of the game and interact with young kids,” Lilly said. “Everyone wants the magic recipe for becoming a World Champion or Olympic gold medalist, but what it comes down to is working hard and putting the time in."
