Tips to Stay Safe this Halloween
Halloween is less than a week away! This time of year, it's always good to review the usual safety tips to make sure it's a fun and enjoyable day and night for everyone.
- 1
Safe Costumes
Costumes should feature reflective material and/or bright colors. Kids are encouraged to wear make-up instead of a mask when possible, so as not to inhibit their vision.
- 2
Traffic Safety
Kids are more often hit by a car between October 30 and November 1 than any other time. If you're considering celebrating with alcohol, assign a designated driver, get a taxi or call an Uber. Kids, use sidewalks whenever possible, otherwise stay to the far side of the road facing traffic.
