There's nothing better on a cold day than coming inside to a delicious and crispy grilled cheese sandwich and some tomato soup. I like my grilled cheese heavy with a lot of cheese so I get that awesome cheese pull when I pull it apart.

Two kids from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area are in the news after breaking a Guinness World Record at the ages of 10 and 11 years old.

The brothers, 11-year-old Exodus and 10-year-old Iggy of Delevan set a brand new record for The World's Largest Grilled Cheese Sandwich at the Tripoli Shrine Center on Saturday, Oct. 21.

According to their family, the sandwich measured 10.9 feet long, and 6.25 feet wide, with a thickness of 2.75 inches. Exodus and Iggy's mom said the boys used over 300 pounds of dough and 60 pounds of cheese to make the sandwich.

For a month, friends and family got together to help construct the record-breaking sandwich, including the creation of a pan custom-made to grill the sandwich.

According to their family, the event will benefit local food banks.

The previous Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Grilled Cheese Sandwich was held by the Cabot Creamery in Vermont. The record sandwich set in 2000 had measurements of 5 feet wide by 10 feet long, and 2.5 inches thick.

The boys have their own YouTube channel, called The Exodus and Iggy Show, which has over 150,000 subscribers.
