I dropped by our sister station today to visit with Santa. Did you know there's an APP now for Santa's naughty and nice list? We took a picture together and he gave Jaymz and I our reports.

Believe it or not,  I was on the nice list, and Jaymz on the naughty list. I was also asked by Jaymz and his co-host/our boss Mike what I wanted for Christmas. I gave a very unselfish answer., "love and happiness for my friends and family", and was kind of ridiculed for it, but I'm not sorry.

As corny as it sounds, the older I get, the easier it gets to think less about material possessions and more about experiences and, as I mentioned, the happiness and an easier life for my loved ones.

In reality, a new laptop would be nice, a vacation to visit family I don't get to see much of, more money and continued success at work, and the Chicago Bears to win the Super Bowl. I don't know if it's unselfish or complacent but I do not ask for much. That's a good thing, right?  I'm blessed to have a great job with amazing listeners and co-workers, and a lot of people who care about me. I am happier than I act sometimes and more blessed than I deserve to be.

Thank you for your support of myself and the radio station this year. I wish you a Merry Christmas and warmest thoughts for the holidays! I'd be interested to know what Christmas means to you and what YOU "want".

For the record, Santa said he might end up bringing me Legos. That would be AWESOME!
