You Can Get a Free Chalupa Box at Taco Bell Today

Taco Bell is offering a free meal to online account holders today!

A few months ago, Taco Bell made headlines for giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos just because. Now, they've upped their game and they're giving away an entire meal! But, there is a tiny bit of work involved.

According to Thrillist, today only, Taco Bell is giving away their $5 Chalupa Craving Box for free to their online users to celebrate their new loyalty program. The box includes a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a drink.

In order to claim the free food, you will have to download the Taco Bell app (it's free) and then create or login to your account. Once you're logged in, the home page of the app will show you the deal. All you'll have to do is click the "get offer" button. You will then be required to place your order through the app. Simply select your nearest Taco Bell location and the time of pickup. When you're ready to grab it, swing by the drive-thru and tell them your name and they'll start preparing your food. I just went through the process and it was super simple. This giveaway isn't as easy as their typical Doritos Locos Taco one where you can just pull up and order, but it's a lot more food, so I'm not going to complain! Everybody knows just how much I love my Taco Bell.

It sounds like Taco Bell is going to be doing a whole bunch of cool stuff with their loyalty program. Thrillist reports that the TB VP of Digital said in a press release:

“Exclusive experiences in our app -- like a free Chalupa Cravings Box and earning points towards free food with Taco Bell Rewards -- are just the start of the many digital initiatives that we plan to bring fans throughout the year."
